NO JUETENG IN CEBU - says Bikolano Chief

“There is no jueteng or STL in Cebu or anywhere else in the Visayas. Almost everyone has a livelihood. If there are any illegal activities, they are the cockfighting at side streets and scattered masiao (local illegal numbers game) but these can easily be detected by police.”

This was revealed yesterday in an exclusive interview with the Bikolano chief of police in Cebu Metro District P/Sr. Supt “Omar” Buenafe. The 48-year old future general is the 6th child of Dr. & Mrs. Cipirano Buenafe of Naga City, Calabanga and Tinambac. He and his Japanese wife are blessed with three kids.

He finished at PMA Sinagtala Class of 1986. He took his primary and secondary education at Naga Parochial School, ADNU, NCF, and UNC. He recently earned his Law degree from Cebu South Western University this month. In his interview, he also discussed the doctrines he introduced for PNP beneficial to the whole nation, and other issues such as corruption in PNP and AFP, the life of a Bikolano in Cebu and Negros where he became Provincial Director.
