Rev. Fr. Mario Gaite, Parish Priest of the Immaculate Conception Parish, celebrated his 25th Sacerdotal Anniversary last 19 March 2011 during the Solemnity of St. Joseph.
The celebration started with a thanksgiving mass at nine o’clock in the morning at the Parish Church; Msgr. Rodel Cajot, the Archdicoesan Vicar General, officiated the renewal of vows.
After the eucharistic celebration, a reception followed at Villa Gaite, Baao, Camarines Sur.
Fr. Gaite was ordained priest by the Most Rev. Leonardo Legaspi, O.P. D.D., Archbishop of Caceres, in 1986 at the Church of St. Bartholomew, Baao, Camarines Sur.
Since then he had four pastoral assignments: as a priest-formator at the Holy Rosary Major Seminary; in 1987, he became a Priest Formator at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary; in 1996, he received his first parish assignment as a Parish Priest of St. Paschal Baylon Parish in Tinambac, Camarines Sur. Twelve years later he became the Parish Priest of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Naga City.
In his words of gratitude, he thanked the Lord for giving Him the opportunity to serve Him for 25 years. He also thanked his family for all the love and support they have given him since he was a seminarian. And lastly, he thanked his students, formators and parishioners; all of whom he has was able to share his pastoral work with.
