FORT BONIFACIO, Taguig City (June 7 2012) – Like millions of Filipinos worldwide, the wounded soldiers of the Philippine Army are also anticipating to watch the upcoming fight between Lt Col Emmanuel “Manny” Pacquiao and Timothy Ray Bradley Jr on Sunday, June 10.

Housed in the newly-renovated 200-bed capacity Army General Hospital (AGH), the Army's wounded warriors are among the thousands of off-duty soldiers who are eagerly awaiting for the D-Day of Pacquiao's fight.

RAGAY, Camarines Sur (June 4, 2012) - The municipal government of this town has offered reward money to any informant who can help identify 2 suspects who two days ago brutally shot two fiesta visitors who were waiting to ride a bus at the Raymond Terminal at Barangany Poblacion Iraya.

Ragay Mayor Ricky Aquino said on Saturday (June 2) that the bounty of undisclosed amount shall be paid for by the local government.

Robredo swears in 400 new Liberal Party leaders

NAGA CITY (June 4, 2012) - Generally seen as in preparation for the 2013 mid-term election, 400 new members of the Liberal Party (LP) coming from all the provinces of the Bicol Region were swore in Saturday (June 2) at the Villa Caceres Hotel in this city by Interior and Local Government Secretary Jesse Robredo.

LIberal Party is the party of President of Benigno Aquino III who is expected to support both his Senatorial ticket as well as local bets nationwide.

Still, illegal means not justified

With the Chief Justice convicted by the Senate, President Aquino and his prosecution team have claimed victory. Concededly, despite all the defects in the articles of impeachment and the bungling of the prosecutors, they won the case. But then again, it was Corona himself in the end who "crowned" his own sorry fate by his unbecoming walkout and damaging admissions.
