NAGA CITY  (Aug 28, 2011 12:30 P.M.) - Typhoon Mina (International name: Nanmadol) has already killed 6 in the Philippines and now takes aim at Taiwan. Its core has started to move away from the Batanes Group as it moves directly northward towards Southern Taiwan at 15 kilometers per hour (kph).

NAGA CITY (Aug 27, 2011 1:00 P.M.) - The core of powerful Typhoon Mina (International name: Nanmadol) is now passing very close to the town of Santa Ana or along Escarpada Point in Northeastern Cagayan. It has a centerwind of 205 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness up to 250 kph. The 24-hour Rainfall Accumulation near the center is estimated at very high 400 mm.

NAGA CITY (Aug 26, 2011 11:00 P.M.) - Mina is now a Super Typhoon and it poses danger to Cagayan and Batanes as it packs a center wind of 250 kilometers per hour (kph), breaching Category 5 level, and its inner rainbands bring heavy squalls along Cagayan, Isabela and Northern Aurora. Peak wind gusts near the center reach 305 kph.

NAGA CITY (Aug 25, 2011, 8:00 A.M.) - Typhoon Mina (International Name: Nanmadol) drifts West-Northwest threatening the Batanes Group of Islands as it continues to bring moderate to heavy rains in Eastern Luzon. Rain forecast near the center is a high 510 millimeters.
