BIGG'S Magsaysay Opens

Naga City,  November 24 - Exactly 31 days to Christmas Eve, BIGG’S INC. has once again officially opened the doors of its newest branch in one of Naga City’s busiest commercial neighborhood, the Magsaysay Avenue district. This is the 15th of its ever expanding branches to give local residents and the city as well as regional and tourist visitors the service of good food in big servings.

Fr. Dan Imperial officiated the blessing with Naga City businessman Boy Abella cutting the ribbon.

Also present during the occasion were Joaquin Buenaflor, father of Bigg’s General Manager Carlo Buenaflor; Carlos Centenera, Company President; Martin Buenaflor, Chairman of the Board; and Rica Buenaflor (of Soleil-Havaianas) with son, Max. Others who graced the occasion were other businessmen, media people and Bigg’s top level management, marketing executives and staffs. The three founders, Nena Bichara, Maricar Manjon, and Teresa Buenaflor were reportedly out of the country and were not able to attend the said special occasion.

As with tradition, the biggest hamburger sandwich in town was served sliced into bite-size pieces together with other special dishes for the occasion. Elvis Presley made a special appearance as a mascot, rounded the city by motorcade, and afterwards performed a dance number to the tune of the 60’s songs giving guests great cheers and enjoyment.

The new Bigg’sis where you can taste their exclusive Extreme Hamburgers and other full meals of  Bigg’s Crispy Chicken, Baby Back Ribs, Cordon Bleu, Tenderloin Tips, Pork Kebab as well as other good food while enjoying a unique ambiance of well preserved collection lines of vintage telephones, transistor radios, cameras, photos and music. Also, in this branch you can behold the one and only 1950’s jukebox machine in the city, if not in the whole Bikol region, that is still playing the 45 records.
