Cebu Pacific vows support to local tourism

Naga City (Nov.21 2011) – After the recently concluded 22nd Ad Congress here at the Camarines Sur Wakeboarding Complex in Pili, the Philippines’ largest carrier, Cebu Pacific Air (PSE: CEB) held a simple lunch for local media, and disclosed current airline seat sales and aircraft delivery schedules. It had just shown support for local tourism and events by operating up to 7x daily flights for last week’s Ad Congress, similar to what it had done during the IronMan last August.

CEB holds 50% off seat sale for 16 domestic routes

Offers discounted fares to Vietnam, China, Indonesia as low as P888

The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) offers a 50% discount on fares to 16 Philippine routes from November 21, 2011 to November 24, 2011 or until seats last. This seat sale is valid for travel from January 1, 2012 until March 31, 2012.

50% off fares are available for seats from Zamboanga to Tawi-Tawi; Davao or Iloilo to Cagayan de Oro; Cebu to Clark, Ozamiz, or Iloilo; and Davao to Iloilo. Travelers from Manila can get 50% off for seats to Busuanga, Butuan, Cauayan, Cebu, General Santos, Kalibo, Ozamiz, Roxas, Virac or Zamboanga.

“With this seat sale, CEB’s guests can make the most of their vacations whether they intend to spend the early summer months around the Philippines or in any of the international destinations offered in this seat sale,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

International routes are also covered in this seat sale for the travel period February 1, 2012 to May 31, 2012. Reduced fares are available for those travelling from Manila to Saigon, Vietnam (P888); from Manila to Guangzhou or Taipei (PHP 1688); Manila to Jakarta, Indonesia (PHP 1988); or to Shanghai or Beijing (P2488).

Discounted fares from Manila to Hanoi (P888) are also available for the travel period of March 17, 2012 to May 31, 2012.

“For our guests’ added convenience, CEB’s web check-in service and automatic seat selection can now be used for free while booking online. To avoid the long lines at the airport, we also encourages guests with check-in luggage to avail of prepaid baggage allowance when booking online for travel savings of as much as 63% on domestic and 72% on international flights,” added Iyog.

Guests without credit cards may also book online and pay through CEB partner banks and payment centers. Other options available to guests who will book online include the seat selection and CEB’s web check-in service.
