NAGA CITY (Nov. 6, 2011) – Camarines Sur Police Director, Senior Superintendent Procopio Lipana has ordered concerned municipal police chiefs to step up the probe on several unsolved killings that have increased based on October records of the Camarines Sur police office.

Several sensational cases of murders were recorded by the police in October this year...

CANAMAN, Camarines Sur (Oct. 14, 2011) – Work on  an important bridge at the Maharlika Highway in Pamplona, Camarines Sur has started after the  release of P 21.9 million from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regular infrastructure fund.

This was announced by newly installed DPWH, Camarines Sur 2nd Engineering district engineer,  Rody Aquino Angulo...

CANAMAN, Camarines Sur (Oct. 14, 2011) – Work on  an important bridge at the Maharlika Highway in Pamplona, Camarines Sur has started after the  release of P 21.9 million from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regular infrastructure fund.

This was announced by newly installed DPWH, Camarines Sur 2nd Engineering district engineer,  Rody Aquino Angulo.

According to DPWH project engineer , Harold Guerero, the steel girders shall be in place this week including the concrete piles.

CANAMAN, Camarines Sur (Aug 17, 2011) — Twenty percent of the 61-kilometer stretch of the Andaya Highway, an important part of the National Highway (Maharlika Highway) stretching from Quezon province to Camarines Sur, are damaged according to the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) 5th Engineering District Office of this province.

But its upkeep is not the responsibility of the local highway district office that has jurisdiction over it.

LEGAZPI CITY, March 17 2011  –- The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regional office here is preparing for traffic buildup along Bikol highways during the Lenten Season by rushing maintenance works on portions of the roads damaged by floods and landslides recently.

NAGA CITY (13 January 2011)- - NINE MINORS mostly from remote villages of San Jose and Goa towns in the 4th district of Camarines Sur province were rescued  by joint police units of the Provincial Police Office, Police Public Safety Company, PNP Regional Intelligence Unit, the Police Women and Children Provincial Desk, and an official of the regional “Anti-trafficking task force” last January 11.

Pamplona, Camarines Sur (28 December 2010) — Due to lack of an official traffic advisory from the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) First Engineering districts office in this province, vehicles passing through a major-bridge-link along Maharlika Highway in Barangay San Isidro, Pamplona town were held up for nearly three hours last December 27 when only one lane of the damaged San Isidro Bridge was passable for vehicular traffic.
