CAMSUR government urged: be transparent on Cobra Ironman finances

CAPITOL COMPLEX, Pili Camarines Sur (Aug. 15, 2011) — Cobra Ironman Philippines has been successfully held at the government-owned CamSur Watersports Complex in Pili, Camarines Sur since 2009. But it appears the Provincial Government has not been transparent in reporting income and expenses in connection with the holding of the prestigious international event.

Tour of Camarines Sur Set to Start, Highlights Kaogma 2011

Pili, Camarines Sur (May 21, 2011) - Up to 5 million pesos in cash prizes are at stake in the Tour of Camarines Sur,  a biking competition held annually as part of the celebration of the foundation anniversary of the province, known as the Kaogma Festival.

The five-kilometre route starts at the Provincial Capitol gate, going around the 180 hectares of the Capitol Complex traversing the CAMSUR Watersports Complex (CWC) , Lago del Rey and the roads along the Mansion suites.

CAMSUR Board Member Hits Secrecy on CWC and Gota Beach Expenditures

Pili, Camarines Sur (17 February) —A BOARD MEMBER of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial board) had repeatedly summoned the Provincial Treasurer and Accountant to appear before a regular session of the provincial legislators to enlighten them on the earnings and expenditures of the Camarines Sur Watersports Complex (CWC) and the Gota-Beach Resort in Caramoan Peninsula, but both officials have yet to appear before the provincial board.
