Fun run for Migz Villafuerte
Pili, Camarines Sur (April 29 2011)– All systems go today for the “Migz Friendship Fun Run” at the Provincial Capitol Complex, Cadlan, Pili, with more than three thousand participants expected.
The five-kilometre route starts at the Provincial Capitol gate, going around the 180 hectares of the Capitol Complex traversing the CAMSUR Watersports Complex (CWC) , Lago del Rey and the roads along the Mansion suites.
This fun run, sponsored by the employees of LGU Camarines Sur, coincides with the opening of the inter-departmental games 2011. This is part of the physical fitness and sports development program initiated jointly by the province and Governor L-Ray Villafuerte.
A series of various competitive games, including cheer dance, tug of war, palo sebo and pig chasing, follows the fun run. Big prizes await the winners of the different events, according to Jimi Letada, head of the Department of Arts and culture.
Today's event concludes with the selection of muse and the recognition and awarding of the biggest contingent.
