More than 50 media professionals from radio, television and print in Camarines Sur, joined the 4-hour “Media Recollection” sponsored by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP/CAB) on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Villa Caceres Hotel.

More than 50 media professionals from radio, television and print in Camarines Sur, joined the 4-hour “Media Recollection” sponsored by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (KBP/CAB) on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Villa Caceres Hotel.

According to Fr. Louie Occiano of Caceres Commission on Communications, attendance increased substantially compared to last year’s recollection. He hopes that “more will participate next year.”

The communal discernment by the news heralds is done yearly, during Lent, before Holy Week.

However, other station managers still prefer to have the traditional ceremonies for induction with guest speakers like Com. Ricky Carandang and DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo. For them, this is also an opportunity to raise funds for medical mission and sports competitions.
