No Induction for KBP this 2011
“To save money, I prefer not to hold induction ceremonies this year.” This was expressed by Emman Llagas after he was unanimously reelected as Chairman of the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster sa Pilipinas (Cam. Sur).
However, other station managers still prefer to have the traditional ceremonies for induction with guest speakers like Com. Ricky Carandang and DILG Sec. Jesse Robredo. For them, this is also an opportunity to raise funds for medical mission and sports competitions.
Elected Vice Chair is Elmer Abad of PBN 5, Jonathan de los Santos of DWOS as secretary, Viki Tuibeo of Home Radio as Treasurer, Angie Galupo of Bombo Radio as Auditor. Other than Abad and Tuibeo, other new station managers and KBP members are Alan Desacado of DWRN and Ric Arnedo of DWKM-FM.
