Polangui Mayor Scores Vox Bikol Article

Mr. Lagdameo:

We, here in Polangui, are avid readers of your weekly newsprint, Vox Bikol. Unfortunately we are appalled by your issue dated 6-12 September, 2010 of an article written in plain Filipino by a certain Kristian Sendon Cordero entitled "Ang Mahal na Birhen ng Pagsalat".

From the 3^rd to the 7^th sentence of the first paragraph of the said article, contains  demeaning and insulting statements that are very degrading to the municipality of Polangui's reputation, let alone to our female constituents'. (sic)

These derogative statements have no concrete evidence and are completely absurd. It is plainly an act of irresponsible journalism! It's ironic that your newsprint's title (VOX BIKOL) literary (sic) means The Voice of Bicol, for it has stated otherwise. With this brought out, and in behalf of all the Polangueños who I represent, we demand Mr. Cordero's and your public apology that will be printed out in your weekly newsprint (VOX BIKOL) in the soonest of your issue possible.
