PNP Searching for Missing Swedish National
NAGA CITY - A MEMORANDUM ORDER from the PNP regional office in Camp Simeon Ola, Legazpi City had alerted all Provincial Police Offices in Bikol to search for Swedish national, Patrik Akessen, after his family had reported to Philippine authorities the disappearance of the said foreign national since February this year.
The Camarines Sur Police Office reported that the Office of the Swedish Vice-Consul had sought the assistance of the PNP headquarters in Camp Crame to check on the possible whereabouts of Akessen in Bikol.
According to the Consul Office, the Swedish national had arrived in this country in July 2009 and has not left the country since.
The Consul Office had appealed to the Regional PNP to investigate the possibility of Akessen being involved in accidents or crime incidents which might have led to the latter's disappearance.
Consequently, the Regional PNP command had directed Provincial Police Offices and Municipal Police Stations to submit reports this March on any information that may led to the whereabouts of the Swedish national. (SONNY SALES)
