The Low Pressure Area (LPA) tagged Tropical Disturbance 98W remains weak as it moves north across the North Philippine Sea, located about 575 km North Northeast of Batanes at coordiantes 24.8 North Latitude 125.1 East Longitude. This system has a low chance of becoming a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours. But it will continue to pull the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) Rains across Mindoro, Marinduque, Bicol, Palawan, Calamian Group, Romblon, Visayas and Western Luzon including Metro Manila and Southern Tagalog Provinces.
