GMA Network’s Laban ng Lahi airs Filipina boxing champ Ana Julaton’s match versus Mexican fighter
GMA Network airs the latest fight of another Filipino Boxing Champion Ana "The Hurricane" Julaton.
Julaton defends her WBO Women’s Super Bantamweight Championship against Mexican boxer Jessica Villafranca in the latest installment of GMA’s Laban ng Lahi boxing series.
The 31-year-old half-Pinoy fighter is faced with her most challenging foe to date the 18-year old Villafranca on Villafranca’s home territory in Yucatan , Mexico .
Since turning professional in 2007, Julaton has secured a place among reigning Filipino Boxing Champions such as Cong. Manny Pacquiao and Nonito Donaire. Her stellar record includes two current world titles - WBO Super Bantamweight World Champion and IBA Super Bantamweight World Champion – both of which she clinched in 2009.
Julaton also holds the distinction of being one of few Filipino fighters handled by 5-time Trainer of the Year Freddie Roach.
