Senator Bong Revilla Jr happy with the blockbuster success of "Ang Panday 2"!

The most-talked about sequel to the 2009 Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF), Ang Panday 2, marks the big screen as it remains unstoppable from baiting the moviegoers nationwide.

With all the positive reviews and praises on the film, the cast and production's sleepless nights and hardwork paid off. "Ang Panday 2" lead star Senator Bong Revilla Jr. expresses his utmost gratitude on the blockbuster success of his film: "Ako ay nagpapasalamat sa mga nanood ng ipinagmamalaki naming pelikula na talagang pinaghirapan at pinaglaanan ng panahon. Nakakataba ng puso na nakapagpasaya kami ng mga tao at nakapagbigay ng ngiti sa mga bata".

Instead of celebrating and continue promoting the box-office success of his film, Senator Bong is going back to Cagayan de Oro and Iligan today (December 29, 2011) in order to give hope and share his blessings to the victims of Typhoon Sendong. He also encourages every Filipino to pray and take part in helping the typhoon victims recover from the painful tragedy they've encountered.

Meanwhile, millions of moviegoers flocked to the cinemas to watch the grandest entry to this year's MMFF, Ang Panday 2. During the first day of the festival, the film hit 29 million total tickets sales which proves that the film is undeniably one of the most-watched entries in the MMFF.

"Ang Panday 2", an official entry of GMA Films and Imus Productions to the 37th Metro Manila Film Festival, is still showing in more than 100 theaters nationwide. Go to the nearest cinemas and find out why moviegoers are raving about it. (GMA 7 Press Release)
