WIMBLEDON, England (July 1, 2011) — By reaching the Wimbledon final Novak Djokovic, not only will have the chance to win the tournament of his boyhood dreams but he secured the world's no. 1 ranking in tennis as well.
On Monday, Djokovic will be the top-ranked player in the world, replacing defending champion Rafael Nadal who will also be his opponent at the Wimbledon men's final.
It will be the first time in 7 years that the no. 1 ATP ranking is not held by either Nadal or Federer.
