MANILA, Philippines (Dec 3, 2011) – Citing that President Aquino was raising issues and concerns important to public interest, Malacañang defended his pronouncement expressing doubts on the impartiality of the Supreme Court.

Yesterday President Aquino’s questioned the Supreme Court’s (SC) decisions, particularly the temporary restraining order on the travel ban against former President and now Pampanga Rep. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

MANILA, Philippines (Nov. 22 2011) – The mugshots of arrested ex-president Gloria Macapagal Arroyo that are now circulating in the Web are the same as the copies now in possession of the Pasay Regional Trial Court.

Manila Philippines (Nov 18, 2011) - At around 4 PM today, the Pasay Regional Trial Court Branch 112 issued a warrant of arrest against former Philippine president Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The warrant has been transmitted to the Pasay police for execution.

Spokesman for Judge Jesus Mupas  said the judge saw probable cause and instead of the anticipated hold departure order, an arrest warrant was issued and can be justified.

Arroyo is still confined at the St. Luke Hospital but has booked a 5:10 P.M. flight to Singapore.

The Comelec en banc recommended the filing of the charges against Mrs. Arroyo after the joint fact-finding committee of the Comelec and the Department of Justice found strong evidence to lodge the non-bailable case against the former president...

NAGA CITY (Oct 24, 2011) - A construction firm implementing a drainage project in this city could be facing charges of negligence after two of its workers died and two others were injured when an 8-meter deep excavation at a project site caved in and buried the victims.

The project's contractor, 4GM Construction firm based in Antipolo City, has not made a public statement on the tragedy. But sources from the city hall say the construction company has administrative and civil liabilities and the city government itself may file the appropriate charges...

In a press conference the group read their statement of condemnation of Duterte’s act of punching sheriff Andres aggravated by the city mayor being a lawyer who should know that the sheriff was just implementing a court order.

Deputy Ombudsman of Mindanao Humphrey Monteroso was assigned to investigate the direct assault charges that the Sheriffs Confederation of the Philippines (SCOPHIL) filed against Duterte.

SCOPHIL took the cudgels for sheriff Abe Andres of the Davao City Regional Trial Court who expressed no desire to sue the mayor and even apologized to her.
