IGLESIA NI CRISTO TURNS 95: President Arroyo's declaration of July 27, 2009 and every July 27 of every succeeding year as "Iglesia Ni Cristo" day, is well-founded and should be hailed by all Filipinos.
July 27, 2009 represents the 95th year that the Iglesia shall have been in existence in the Philippines and in the whole world.
PEP COALITION BACKED BY SEN. ROXAS AGAINST PRE-NEED COMPANIES? The "Unang Hirit" Channel 7 Wednesday appearance of Philip Piccio, the leader of a group calling itself "PEP Coalition," was preceded by a frenzy of text messages sent to officials and plan holders of Phil Asia Care Plans, Inc. a day before, warning that Piccio will touch, although indirectly, about the Phil Asia problem.
PARTY LIST GROUPS THAT DID NOT OBTAIN TWO PERCENT OF THE VOTES MAY STILL GET REPRESENTATION: Even party list groups that did not obtain at least two percent of the votes cast for party lists in any election may now be given a chance to install at least one congressman (or even more, in fact) in the House of Representatives.
