FIFA worries over Brazil's World Cup 2014 readiness
MOSCOW - Brazil's preparation for the 2014 World Cup that it hosts is proceeding at a slow pace that worries FIFA.
This was FIFA secretary general Jerome Valcke revealed when he spoke Friday at the Friday at the World Football Forum in Moscow. He further lamented that Brazil's was more concerned about winning the hosting rights than organizing the prestigious event.
Valcke complained of the lack of stadiums and airports and that some facilities like the Rio de Janeiro's Maracana stadium might be ready only few weeks before the start of the games. (From philstar.com)
