After almost a month of staying in London to compete in the 2011 Miss World Pageant, the newly-crowned Miss World 1st Princess Gwendoline Ruais returns to the Philippines on November 18.

Last October 19, Gwen left the country as Miss World Philippines with the hope of bringing home the elusive crown. It has been 16 years since Miss Philippines last placed in the Miss World Pageant and more than 3 decades since the country’s candidate was crowned 1st Princess. Many Filipinos witnessed Gwendoline Ruais’ coronation as First Princess in the 2011 Miss World Pageant held in London , England as it aired over GMA-7 last Monday morning.

According to the overnight data from Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, the TV special on GMA-7 registered a high 55.2% household audience share in Mega Manila. It has beaten all the programs that aired on the same time slot...
