DPWH Secretary: Siruma road condition 'deplorable'

Tigaon Camarines Sur (June 15 2011) - Early this week, Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Rogelio Singson did an on-site inspection of the Tinambac-Siruma secondary national road and the Goa-Tinambac Road in the Partido district (4th district) and found the road conditions 'deplorable.'

Done with fact-finding, the National Bureau of Investigation is set to make public the result of its investigation on one all-important ballot box that mysteriously disappeared from the municipal treasurer's office in Siruma, Camarines Sur.

Prior to its disappearance, the ballot box containing 247 ballots from Butawanan Island was to be opened for recount of votes by COMELEC under the supervision of Atty. Noriel Badiola, the provincial election officer of Camarines Sur.

DOH Rushes to Stop Spread of Diarrhea at Siruma

LEGAZPI CITY (22 Jan 2011) - The Department of Health (DOH) regional office here mobilized its health emergency response team to prevent the further spread of the number of persons who were downed by diarrhea which already claimed one death in a remote village of Siruma town in Camarines Sur.
