MANILA, Philippines (Aug. 29, 2011) - The Ateneo Blue Eagles completed an 11-0 sweep of their games in the elimination rounds by beating a terribly outplayed arch-rival De La Salle Green Archers, 79-82, and earned a twice-to-beat privilege en route to the Final Four of UAAP Season 74 men’s basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum yesterday

It was a rout as the Eagles, banking on its vaunted defense and perimeter shooting, cruised to an easy 77-57 victory over the Maroons to maintain solo lead.
