Naga City Philippines (June 21, 2011 7:25 A.M.) - A low pressure area (LPA) South East of the Visayas, although still too far to affect any part of the Philippines, is fast organizing and expected to become Tropical Cyclone 'Falcon' today as it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

Threatened areas include Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region and the rest of Luzon as the weather disturbance moves Westerly at 13 kilometers per hour in the general direction of Eastern Luzon, packing a center wind of 40 kilometers per hour with gustiness up to 55 kilometers per hour.

Naga City (July 21, 2011 1:40 P.M.) - PAGASA has upgraded the Tropical Disturbance 99W east of the Visayas to Tropical Depression 'Falcon' as it moves northwestward in the general direction of extreme Northern Luzon.

Naga City (July 21, 2011 1:40 P.M.) - The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) has upgraded the Tropical Disturbance 99W east of the Visayas to Tropical Depression 'Falcon' as it moves northwestward in the general direction of extreme Northern Luzon.

As of 12 noon today, Falcon was located 685 kilometers East of Borongan, Eastern Samar or 950 kilometers East Southeast of Naga City at coordinates 1.9º North Latitude 131.8º East Longitude.

Naga City (UPDATED June 18 2011, 6:00 AM) - A new tropical depression code named 'Egay' is now hovering off the coast of Samar Island and has accelerated its movement towards the eastern coast of the Bicol region.
