STI Inaugurates Its Naga Academic Center

Naga City (1 February 2011) -- Technology-learning innovator STI recently inaugurated its newest campus at Naga City through the blessing of the STI Naga Academic Center last 31 January, the feast of St. John Bosco.

According to owner Atty. Monico V. Jacob, the Naga Academic Center is one of the six new campuses built by STI; there are now 60 campuses and over 65,000 students of STI all over the country, he added.

The blessing and inauguration of the Center began with a 9:00 A.M. mass presided by Msgr. Zosimo Sañado, Naga Cathedral’s Parish Priest; he was joined by Fr. Rogelio Largoza, Fr. Gerry Hernandez, Fr. Louie Occiano, Fr. Wilmer Tria, and Fr. Daet.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony which followed was led by Atty. Jacob and his wife together with Naga City Mayor John Bongat and Vice-Mayor Gabriel Bordado.

After the unveiling of the Center’s marker by Atty. Julito Vitriolo and Peter K. Fernandez, Atty. Jacob delivered his welcome remarks.

Among the notable guests of occasion were Dr. Diosdado San Antonio, OIC of Naga City Schools Division; Dr. Emma Cornejo, School Division Superintendent 1 DepEd; Mr. Pascual Ariola, Provicnical Director 1 TESDA; and Mr. Salvador M. Mediavillo, OIC 1 CHED RO V.

STI Naga Academic Center is located at the Central Business District II of this city.
