Caceres TV Program Is Back

Evangelization has always been the mission of the Church. The call to evangelize first given to us by Christ requires that we proclaim the word of God using every means of communication including radio, television and internet.

In view of this urgent task, the Caceres Commission on Communications (CCCom) is resuming its TV Program, SIMBANWAAN Season 3.

Started in 2007, it used to be a 30-minute TV magazine show is composed of several segments namely: the Wow Simbahan, which features one parish with its programs and special services; the Tabang Banwaan, which features various religious institutions/organizations which promote social services to the underprivileged members of the community. Another segment is the Isyu which discusses pressing concerns of the society and clarifies important issues with the church teaching. Basing on the queries and opinions of men and women on the streets, the program also included discussion on doctrinal teachings of the Catholic faith.  Season 3 will now be a 1-hour program with a lot of surprise segments for the audience.

For several episodes, we have already established viewership in Camarines Sur and even nearby provinces. Unfortunately, the program had to stop airing due to financial constraints.

Starting April 24, 2011, SIMBANWAAN Season 3 will be aired every Sunday at 10:30am – 11:30am over TV5, and GNN (Global News Network) Naga Channel 48 at 3:00pm. The Goa Cable TV, Rising Sun Cable of Pasacao and Vision Prime cable of Iriga community channels are also airing the show.
