LEGAZPI CITY, April 23 (PNA) - At least three persons died and another was injured in a road mishap involving a fuel tanker truck and a motorcycle at dawn at the Maharlika Highway in Casiguran town in Sorsogon, a ranking police officer reported Friday.

Cabunoc, Division Spokesperson said that the former UN peacekeepers are among the combined elements of the STF Masbate which was sent to check the reported presence of gun-toting gunmen in the village.

Cagayan de Oro Archbishop Antonio J. Ledesma, S.J., D.D. said that martial law will only trigger more instability and perpetuate the insecurity of the people of Basilan.
