Gadhafi buried in secret location

MISRATA, Libya (AP) — Longtime Libyan dictator Moammar Gadhafi, his son Muatassim and a top aide were buried in an Islamic ceremony at dawn Tuesday in a secret location, with a few relatives and officials in attendance, officials said.

The burial closed the book on Gadhafi's nearly 42-year rule and the 8-month civil war to oust him, but did not silence international calls for an investigation into whether the widely despised tyrant was executed by his captors.

Military, Police Vigilant As Personnel Watch Pacquiao-Mosley Bout

Each time the Pacman fights, soldiers and police personnel get absorbed in the watching live telecast of the match. Salceda Hits SC Ruling on SLEX Fee Hike

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines - Oct. 22 - Albay Governor Joey Salceda on Friday expressed dismay over the Supreme Court (SC) ruling allowing the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) to hike their toll way fees.

"I feel so helpless - saan na tatakbo ang ordinaryong probinsiyano for protection?" he remarked.

According to the governor, the ruling has long-term adverse economic impacts on the welfare of the province's small viajeros who depend on Divisoria trade, or the fish dealers that rely on Navotas, and the ordinary motorists that include students studying in Metro Manila or families visiting their relatives.

Salceda said the Supreme Court has allowed three toll roads to impose an increase in their rates.
