Daet, Camarines Norte (13 May) -- Governor Edgardo A. Tallado was proclaimed anew winner this morning (Wednesday, May 12) as Governor of this province winning only by 158 votes against incumbent Labo Mayor Winniefredo Oco.

Former Congressman Renato J. Unico Jr. also won by landslide against Wilfredo Chato, son of lone district incumbent Congresswoman Liwayway Vinzons Chato, while Elmer Panotes trounced Congresswoman Chato for the second congressional district.

In Daet, re-electionist Mayor Tito Sarion was proclaimed yesterday winning by more than 4,000 votes against former Governor Jesus O. Typoco Jr.

Meanwhile in Labo, the town with the most number of registered voters in the province, former Vice Mayor Dindo Pardo and former municipal administrator Severino Francisco Jr. won as mayor and vice-mayor respectively. (PIA CamNorte)
