Coming from a unanimous decision win against Timothy Bradley, Jr. earlier this year, Filipino boxing hero and eight-division world champion Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao defends his WBO Welterweight belt against American challenger Chris Algieri on Sunday, November 23 at the Cotai Arena in Macau.

GMA Network airs the 12-round bout dubbed “Pacquiao vs. Algieri: Hungry for Glory” via satellite at 11:00 AM. The live blow-by-blow action can also be heard over Super Radyo DZBB 594, Barangay LS 97.1 and all RGMA station nationwide beginning 10:00 AM.

Pacquiao’s previous boxing match in Macau saw him proving that he is still the best fighter of his generation when he consistently outboxed Brandon Rios for the vacant WBO International World Title.

In his defense of his WBO World Welterweight belt, Pacquiao finally claimed victory over Bradley in a rematch in Las Vegas last April. Pacquiao’s record stands at a strong 55 wins (38 KO), 5 losses and 2 draws.

Pacquiao’s opponent rose to popularity as a professional kickboxer before converting to boxing.  Algieri enters the right with a record of 20 wins (8 KO), 0 loss and 0 draw after winning the WBO World Light Welterweight Championship versus Ruslan Provodnikov.

A repeat telecast of “Pacquiao vs. Algieri: Hungry for Glory” will air on GMA’s Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) at 10:40 PM.
