Celebrating its 15th Season beginning this Saturday (November 15), GMA Network’s weekend youth-oriented showTropang Potchi (TP) continuously makes Saturday mornings more enjoyable with its value-driven and exciting reality-adventure episodes.
From fun-filled out-of-town escapades to comic narrative stories, Tropang Potchi definitely gives viewers an interesting and informative TV experience. Always fueled to learn are Miggy (Miggy Jimenez), Sab (Sabrina Man), Nomer (Nomer Limatog), Lenlen (Lenlen Frial), Kyle (Kyle Ocampo) and Tuks (Miggs Cuaderno).
Directed by Louie Ignacio, Tropang Potchi takes pride on being recognized on various award-giving bodies. Last March, TP earned the Outstanding Education Program and Outstanding Education Program Hosts awards during the 5th Golden Screen Awards for TV. This is followed by a recognition under the Children/Youth Program Category on the 2014 New York Festivals International TV & Films Awards. TP brought home the Silver World Medal for the episode “Talaandig Tribe,” which highlighted the customs and traditions of Bukidnon’s Talaandig Tribe. And recently, TP also won for the Best Children and Youth Program at the 36th Catholic Mass Media Awards.
As the show continues to explore Philippine wonders, this Saturday witness Sab and Kyle as they discover the hidden beauty of Danjugan Island in Visayas. Viewers are definitely in for a treat as the tropa prepares an amusing sketch.
