In a rare crossover moment in local television, the fictional hero of GMA News TV’s first original series Bayan Ko meets the heroine of the channel’s latest series Titser.
Rocco Nacino reprises his role as Mayor Joseph of Bayan Ko for Titser. Now a widower – after an assassination attempt that claimed the life of his wife - Mayor Joseph continues his inspiring fight for good governance in the town of Lagros. He also continues to move around on his signature tricycle and without a bodyguard.
Mayor Joseph encounters the dedicated young teacher Michelle, played by Lovi Poe, on one such tricycle trip to the town of San Simeon. She has no idea who he is, only that he served to further delay her arrival in class.
Mayor Joseph joins the series to stand as best man at the wedding of his childhood friend Sir Gil, played by Gardo Versoza, to the new Principal Sandra, portrayed by Agot Isidro. But beyond just the wedding, the Mayor - and his ideals - will have a huge influence on the future of Teacher Michelle.
