Launched in 1966, the RCM Journalism Awards honors journalists who have made outstanding contributions to various forms of media, including television, radio, and print. It is regarded as one of the most anticipated and prestigious accolades to be awarded to media practitioners in the Philippines.
Recipients of the awards are thoroughly selected by the Rotary’s Journalism Awards Committee, with concurrence of members in a general assembly. Nominees of each category are submitted by various Rotary chapters located all over the country.
