GMA Network's latest child-friendly TV fare, HOME SWEET HOME, is off to a promising start after garnering high numbers during its pilot week.
According to data from the industry's widely trusted ratings service provider Nielsen TV Audience Measurement, Home Sweet Home ruled its timeslot not only in viewer-rich Mega Manila but also in Urban Luzon.
Based on household data recorded in Urban Luzon, which comprises 76.4 percent of urban TV household population in the country, from April 22 to April 26, 2013 (based on overnight readings), the series registered 32.1 percent household shares, versus ABS-CBN's Little Champ's 26.3 percent.
Home Sweet Home likewise led in Mega Manila, which represents 59 percent of urban TV households in the country, after generating a 32.7 percent household shares while Little Champ achieved only 22.3 percent.
Home Sweet Home became an instant hit to everyone with its engaging storyline and likeable characters that let viewers experience an exciting adventure at their own homes.
This week, the story gets more interesting as the characters of Raymart Santiago (Reden) and Jillian Ward (Jessie) encounter their first adventure inside the old house. Both father and daughter try to find their way out of the house but when they open a door, they are instantly led to a desert!
What adventures await Reden and Jessie in the desert? Will they be able to find the key and escape before it is too late? How will Dulce (Roxanne Guinoo), Benjie (Jake Vargas) and Ivan (Rain Quite) react with the changes in the personalities of Reden and Jessie?
Under the direction of Gil Tejada, Jr., Home Sweet Home airs Mondays to Fridays before 24 Oras on GMA.
