Savor the new flavors of life and friendship starting this Saturday as leading news channel GMA News TV unveils its newest cooking lifestyle program - Taste Buddies!
Featuring two of the country ' s IT girls, Solenn Heussaff and Isabelle Daza, expect Taste Buddies to whip up scrumptious food topped with romantic stories sprinkled with love and friendship beginning this Saturday, October 27.
Real friends on and off cam, both Solenn and Isabelle are certified foodies who love to whip dishes from simple pasta and salad to even complicated recipes. And their love for food extends to their families as well -- Solenn ' s brother, Erwan, is a well-known food blogger while Isabelle belongs to a clan that has left a legacy of delicious recipes to many Filipinos for decades now. All these, plus their healthy lifestyle, make Solenn and Isabelle perfect to take the lead in Taste Buddies.
In Taste Buddies, Solenn and Isabelle are good friends who are in search for independence and belongingness. As the two transfer to their new pad, they will meet different people from whom they will learn how relationships, love, and food go well together. And as they discover a lot of new and exciting things that life has to offer, their experiences together with all the gastronomic delights that they will be creating will be posted in their own blog!
For their first Saturday together, the girls are whipping up Peanut Butter-Banana Smoothie using soy milk and Lemongrass Pandan Tea to quench everyone's thirst, Roasted Chicken Pizza Pandesal and Creamy Dulong Pasta for the hearty meal, and Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream for dessert! Sure to make Taste Buddies more fun and exciting are good-looking neighbors Mikael Daez, Rodjun Cruz, and Betong Sumaya.
"We are offering a fresh take on cooking shows with the introduction of Taste Buddies. The show will combine elements of story-telling, reality, cooking, and lifestyle.
