TINAMBAC, Camarines Sur (May 13, 2012) – Alarming occurrences of crimes are noted in the adjacent towns of Tinambac and Calabanga in the province of Camarines Sur.
The local police here, reported Friday (May 11) that at least three person were critically hurt and 2 others sustained multiple bruises at a fiesta dance in barangay Bani in a shooting incident that started when a fiesta visitor, Rowell Sanchez Sales, 28 was suddenly punched on the body by a local resident, Ryan Sarte Tuy, 25, who also drew a handgun from his waist and fired a shot on Sales but missed when he was smashed by a wooden chair during the ensuing brawl.
In anger, Tuy reportedly fired his hand gun indiscriminately hitting 3 persons, Pio Abendan Sales, 35; a teenager, Diane Clemen Gianan, 14; and Judith Visto Canton, 53, who were all the treated of gunshot wounds at the Bicol Medical Center.
Tuy was reportedly apprehended by the police, but no gun was found in the possession of the assailant.
Meanwhile in Calabanga, Cam. Sur the local police are still investigating the killing of Joel Catimbang Alvarado, 35, who was shot by 4 men clad in bonnets, while the victim was riding a motorcycle in sitio Barana, Burabod, Calabanga town.
Reportedly, the victim was shot for no apparent reason, while passing the said locality. The police reported that earlier a barangay Captain, who was also a friend of the victim was also shot dead in March this year in the said barangay. (SONNY SALES)
