Ricky Lee to conduct lecture-workshop on scriptwriting in Naga

Ricky Lee, the multi-awarded scriptwriter, playwright, and fictionist, will conduct a Lecture-Workshop on Scriptwriting on Sept. 29, 8:00-12:00, at the University of Nueva Caceres, Instructional Media Center.

Other than lecture-workshop, Lee will also launch  his books  Para kay B(2008), Si Tatang at Mga Himala ng Ating Panahon (Reprint, 2009) both published by Writers Studio Philippines, Inc. and Trip to Quiapo (Fifth edition, 2007) by Bagong Likha Publishing.

Lee, known for his award winning and critically acclaimed films such as Himala, Salome, Moral, and Brutal and known for having a record  of more than 150 produced film scripts, has  also written short stories,  plays, feature articles, and a novel--a number of which won Palanca awards. Apart from 50 trophies  received  from various award giving bodies here and abroad, including the Gawad Urian Lifetime Award, Lee will also be conferred the Most Outstanding Bikolano Artist in the Bikolinismo Awarding Ceremony also on Sept 29.

The workshop  is open to all  interested  teachers, students, stage directors, actors, writers, and literature lovers.  A minimal registration fee will be collected from each participant and only the first 100 registrants can be accommodated.
