Caceres Archbishop Rolando Tria Tirona signs his latest book, The Catholic Vote, after its launch last May 1, Labor Day. According to Vicar General, Rev. Msgr. Rodel Cajot, "The book launched today is a seed that must be planted on fertile ground so that it may bear fruit."
Tirona's latest book is divided into three parts, On Catholic Life, On Catholic Vote and On Catholic Public Square. Designed to be lightweight and for easy reading, it answers 30 questions on politics and Catholicism, providing catechetical instruction on the Social Teachings of the Church. As PPCRV Chairperson, Henrietta "Tita" de Villa, puts it, Tirona's book is a concise synthesis on Catechesis.
The launch, which was held at the Holy Rosary Minor Seminary Auditorium at three o'clock in the afternoon, has been successfully organized by the Commission on the Promotion of Social Teachings, headed by Rev. Fr. Wilmer Joseph Tria.
