GMANetwork.com wins at Digital Filipino Web Awards 2014

The GMA Network portal - www.GMANetwork.com – was awarded best website in the Television category of the 6th Digital Filipino Web Awards on March 5 in Makati City.

Described as the most comprehensive media portal, GMANetwork.com has been a frequent hub of Kapuso netizens all over the globe for the latest news and updates on GMA programs and artists. It integrates the news, entertainment and other websites of GMA Network.

Last year, GMANetwork.com introduced new and enhanced features, namely, infinite scrolling, responsive web design, and the drag-to-share functionality. These allow users to access, view and share GMA content in an easier, faster and more convenient manner.

The Digital Filipino Web Awards recognizes “the changes with the way web sites are being perceived now and how it’s valued.” The winners were chosen based on search engine competitiveness, technical performance and social media engagement.
