NAGA CITY (Aug. 29 2011) – The Camarines Sur Electric Cooperative (CASURECO) II has 3 new board members after a legally-challenged election was successfully held yesterday.
The new directors are Jose Grageda representing the North District of Naga City who won over Barangay Captain Josue Peres; Tomas de Vera representing Magarao town who prevailed over former Vice-Mayor Kaka Almazar; and former Vice-Mayor Oscar Borja representing Bombon who won over Engineeer Eman Navarz and incumbent director Emmanuel Rojo.
With the entry of the 3 new board members, the leadership of the electric cooperative is expected to be revamped on October this year when the General Assembly shall be convened and election shall be promptly held.
