NABUA, Camarines Sur, Oct. 21 (PNA) -- Joint operatives of the Nabua Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by Police Senior Insp. John Murray C. Cutaran, officer-in-charge, and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency RO-5 on Monday arrested a suspected drug pusher in an anti-dangerous drug buy-bust operation at Zone 1, Barangay Bustrac here.
Caught was Louie B. Llanes, 33 and a resident of Zone 4, La Opinion, Nabua, Camarines Sur, after selling to a poseur-buyer one plastic sachet with white crystalline substance suspected to be “shabu.”
The law enforcers also confiscated two plastic sachets with suspected shabu and three pieces of PHP100 bills used as marked money.
They properly marked the seized pieces of evidence in the presence of the mandatory witnesses from the Department of Justice, media and barangay officials.
The Nabua MPS is now readying the appropriate charges for violation of RA 9165 or the "Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” against the suspect.
The recovered pieces of evidence will be submitted to Camarines Sur Provincial Crime Laboratory Office, Naga City. (PNA) FFC/FGS/EMC/CBD
