DSWD brings "PaskuJuan' fun fare and bazaar for 4Ps, SLP beneficiaries

LEGAZPI CITY, Nov. 29 (PIA) -- The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) will conduct anew the nationwide "PaskuJuan, a National Holiday Festival and Bazaar" on November 30, 2014 at the activitiy center of the Pacific Mall here.

The one-day event will be facilitated in by DSWD regional staff and beneficiaries of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) and Pantawid Pamilya.  They will also be joined by program partner agencies, organizations and private entities, among others.

The festivity complements the positive response from the recently concluded National Pantawid Pamilya Family Day.

"PaskuJuan" will feature a bazaar showcasing the various products crafted by the SLP and 4Ps beneficiaries.

It will aso showcase Christmas Music Show featuring the SOP band, winner of the recently concluded songwriting contest of KALAHI-CIDSS along with the center-based/ children’s choir and caroling. The event shall be open to the general public.

PaskuJuan" aims not only to share the spirit of love and joy in celebration and thanksgiving for the gift of family but also to showcase various ideas in making different crafts as a form of livelihood.

Furthermore, the event will foster creativity among the SLP and Pantawid Pamilya recipients, honing their skills to its highest potential and will provide a showcase of their products to a wider audience. (MAL/JOL/CRB-DSWD5/PIA5)
