Discover the rich cultural heritage of Central Mindanao this Sunday, November 30, as GMA Regional TV’s travelogue Let’s Fiesta features Isulan, Sultan Kudarat and its colorful celebration of the Kalimudan Festival.
Let’s Fiesta resident traveler John Feir, together with celebrity guest Alden Richards, witness the tribal feast of Kalimudan—a cultural celebration that brings together the tri-people (Muslims, Christians, and Indigenous Tribes) of the province in a grand showcase of traditional dance, music, and costume.
After the festivities, John explores the province’s off-the-beaten path destinations that also have potentials in becoming famous tourist sites.
John then takes a quick tour at the local market of Isulan where a wide array of goods can be bought. He also tries a variety of seafood specialties and checks out the famous grilled native chicken. Alden, meanwhile, learns the process of making palm oil.
