Booming Legazpi City needs more water; local distributor helpless

LEGAZPI CITY, Nov. 8 (PNA) -- By 2016, the Bicol Region’s capital investment hub, Legazpi City, will be facing higher demand for fresh water owing to increasing population and booming business establishments, the spokesman of the Legazpi City Water District (LCWD) on Sunday said.

3 caught for illegal fishing in Catanduanes

LEGAZPI CITY, Nov. 8 (PNA) -- Elements of San Andres Municipal Police Station (MPS) led by PO1 Ahdel D. Idanan and Philippine Coast Guard led by SN2 Rudy R. Hombre arrested three fishermen while in the act of fishing with the use of noxious/poisonous plant locally known as “tigaw” at Pier Site, Barangay San Roque, San Andres, Catanduanes on Thursday morning.
