NAGA CITY (July 22, 2011) - The police reported that a woman pusher tagged as the “shabu queen” of Naga was arrested and charged before the City Prosecutor’s Office.
The suspect, Aracele Arbius Comprado, 58 years old, and her companion Gerardo Moico Salcedo were nabbed by joint City Police station 3 and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives in a buy-bust operation within the compound of the Peñafrancia Church in this City.
Barangay councilor Celina Brines, City Prosecutor Obette Francia and “Bombo Radyo” Naga reporter Adel Auxillo stood as on-site witnesses in the buy-bust operation carried out by PDEA regional operatives led by Vidal DC Bacolod.
Naga City Police Office Intel-Officer Chief Inspector, Eymard Gomez, said Comprado has previous drug cases and had been arrested on several occasions in the notorious sitio Isla Sison in this city.
Seized from the suspect were 2 sachets of shabu of 5 grams each with total street value of 80,000 pesos, Gomez said. (SONNY SALES)
